WHO WE ARE
C5 Training is an emergency expert training organisation.
We develop and enhance an organisations management and staff knowledge and skills in managing and responding to emergencies at an organisational, regional and site level both nationally and internationally.
Our innovative training courses and exercises provide organisations with an assurance that their policies, procedures and people are prepared and trained to meet the challenges and opportunities emergencies represent.
Our courses both accredited and non-accredited apply to a range of emergencies in a range of industries. These emergencies include natural disasters, security and safety emergencies, health and medical emergencies, mass evacuation events and complex coordination of multisite, multi-location emergency response.
STORY
C5 Crisis Management was commenced in 2015, with a view to providing organisations an end-to-end solution in security project management both within Australia and internationally.
Since this time and with involvement in numerous Government and Non-Government Organisation (NGO) C5 has developed and managed the emergency management policy’s and procedure’s as well as the design and development of Emergency Control Organisations (ECO).
During this time the C5 team was integral in supporting management teams in managing and responding to major emergencies such as mass evacuations, natural disasters, supply chain emergencies, mass casualty events, security and safety emergencies involving serious injury and death, travel emergencies, hostage situations, armed conflict, medical mass casualty events and more.
Through this experience C5 understood the importance of supporting management and staff with best practice training that is tailored, scenario based and practical in its application. Importantly the training must be based on best practice standards.
The training that has been developed has been borne from the emergency management knowledge and skills of the training team from careers in Australian and International Federal emergency, law enforcement and military organisations with experience in national and international incident management and response teams.
C5 TEAM
The C5 Training Team combines management, operational and national level training experience in emergencies.
The training team are experienced leaders from law enforcement, military, fire rescue, medical, emergency management and international projects. The team led by Donna Phillips as the head of training and compliance, brings together decades of training design and facilitation experience, into highly interactive training and exercise events for organisations and staff.

We constantly seek to improve our training services through ensuring we are meeting the standards required by the Australian Stills Quality Authority (ASQA), developments in Emergency Management through the National Emergency Management Agency adherence to the frameworks in Australasian Inter Service Incident Management System (AIIMS), ICCS Plus and ISO 22320:2018 Security and Resilience – Emergency Management – Guidelines for incident management and the Australian Standard AS 3745 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities.
