WHAT WE DO

C5 Training are experts at providing industry and organization specific emergency management, incident supervision, crisis response training.  The following courses are the product of decades of managing complex incidents, emergencies and crises across a broad range of types and locations.

  • This course provides nationally recognized training by delivering, training and assessing the unit of competency PUAFER005 Operate as part of an Emergency Control Organisation

    VIEW COURSE

  • This course is suited to people seeking the skills and knowledge required to manage all activities and personnel deployed to resolve Level 1 incidents.

    VIEW COURSE

  • This course applies to individuals working in detention centres, correctional centres, and prisons and on work sites or in accommodation or activities where clients are under statutory supervision. It is suited to those working in roles supervising secure transport of clients in transport vehicles. An individual undertaking this type of work will have moderate support, drawing upon familiar support resources and direction from colleagues.

  • C5 delivers several negotiation courses aimed at preparing participants to manage conflict within the workplace. 

    These courses range from several-hour sessions through to 3-day courses.

    Aggressive Behaviour Management

  • Part of the Emergency Management and Response suite of courses offered by C5 is the Emergency Response Supervisor Course.  This provides participants with skills and knowledge in supervising emergencies in the field.  The course is tailored to the policies and procedures of organisations and and is highly interactive with emphasis on practicals and scenario based training.

  • The final course in the suite of emergency management and response courses that is offered by C5 is the Staff  Crisis Response Course.  This course prepares participants to respond to emergencies in the workplace, focusing on per incident, incident and post incident  when navigating emergencies such as security, evacuations, safety, natural disasters, etc.

  • C5 has and continues to design and facilitate specialist training courses for government and corporate clients, these have covered the following areas

    Search and Rescue

    Use of Force including Firearms

    Public Order

    Hostage Negotiation

  • C5 Training staff have been conducting (H.E.A.T) since 2014 with several thousand participants taking part in the immersive, scenario-based training.  The training prepares participants travelling to at risk locations with the knowledge and skills to effectively prevent, prepare, respond and recover from emergencies.

EXERCISES / AUDIT & TESTING

Many organisations commit substantial resources to developing Emergency Management Plans and Frameworks, however awareness of these plans, training at all levels and exercising plans is often limited.

C5 Training designs and facilitates exercises at an organisational, regional, site level to observe and report on an organisation’s preparedness, response and recovery to emergencies.  The exercises are designed to replicate emergencies and test:

  • Policy

  • Procedures

  • Resourcing

  • Communication

  • Coordination

  • Emergency training within an organisation

C5 provides a maturity level report with recommendations on areas of risk and opportunity.
